Accounts Payable Specialist (Full-Cycle)

Ledgent, a division of Roth Staffing Companies, is seeking an experienced Full-Cycle Accounts Payable Specialist to support our client's growing accounting team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has exceptional attention to detail, and brings strong technical skills-particularly in Excel and ERP-based AP processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform full-cycle Accounts Payable, including invoice receipt, coding, approval routing, and posting.
- Execute 3-way match (PO, packing slip, invoice) to ensure accuracy and proper authorization.
- Process weekly check runs and electronic payments in accordance with company policy.
- Manage high-volume invoice processing-approximately 450 invoices per week.
- Conduct account and vendor statement reconciliations, resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor files and documentation.
- Collaborate with Purchasing, Receiving, and other internal departments to resolve AP issues.
- Assist with month-end closing activities as needed.
- Support audits by providing documentation and responding to inquiries.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of full-cycle Accounts Payable experience required.
- Strong understanding of 3-way match processes.
- Skilled in large-volume AP environments.
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, filtering, data manipulation).
- Experience working within a true ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- AA in Accounting is helpful but not required.
